Family Game: Tic-Tac-Toe With a Flip
Another super easy game that the whole family can play. You should be able to find everything needed around the house as well, making this game completely free to play.
How it works:
This week, we took the classic game of tic-tac-toe and gave it a fun twist. Grab some tape and set up a tic-tac-toe grid on a playing surface. To play, instead of taking turns, the opponents will have to cups and get them to land upright before they can place one in the grid. This makes it a race to get your cup to do a flip and land upright so that you can place three cups in a row before your opponent.
Tips for Success:
If you do not have any solo cups, you can use plastic cups, water bottles, or literally anything else that would be somewhat of a challenge to flip. No need to overthink it here.
You can also add some variation to the game. For example, instead of flipping a cup successfully and then placing the cup wherever you want on the grid, you can try to flip the cup to land upright in the space you want on the grid. We did not play this way, but it sounds like it would be more of a challenge.
Our family had a ton of fun with this simple and easy game. We hope that you do too! As always, please make sure to post any content of you and your family playing the game and tag us on social media. In the meantime, please stay tuned for next week's game.
